What is Radionics? Radionics is a means of mind/matter interaction that employs specially-designed, electronic-like instrumentation. These instruments enhance the ability of the practitioner to tune into the subtle levels of nature. This tuning not only aids in the detection and analysis of subtle energies, but also provides a means of changing them to bring about Positive benefits for soils, plants, animals, and people. It can also be used to advance personal growth and awareness. Radionics is closely related to Radiesthesia (Dowsing) and often employs many of its techniques.

What are Subtle Energies? Subtle energies are higher levels of radiation whose detection is beyond the range of most standard physics instrumentation. Subtle energies are the blueprint for the denser forms of electromagnetic energy and matter that make up our physical world. It might be said that everything in the physical world exists first in a subtle energy form.

What is Psychotronics? Psychotronics is variously defined but generally refers to a wide range of technologies and practices that use instruments to measure and manipulate subtle energies. The terms Radionics and Psychotronics are often used interchangeably. However, Radionics is really only one, rather well defined, means of doing Psychotronic work.

How are Radionics & Knowledge of Subtle Energies Used? Radionics was originally conceived as a means of medical diagnosis and treatment. While this needs qualification, radionics´ foremost application is still for human health. Many practitioners in holistic health employ radionics to identify and rectify the subtle energy imbalances that are associated with and precipitate disease in the physical body. Radionics shares the same "energetic" world view recognized by acupuncturists, homeopathists, and reiki practitioners. (Radionics is especially compatible with homeopathy; radionic instruments can be used to make homeopathic potencies.) Agriculturalists and animal nutritionists use radionics to pinpoint nutrient imbalances in plants and animals; it can also be used to select the optimal feeds, fertilizers, and supplements to rectify the imbalances. Geologists use Radionic techniques to analyze ore specimens or to locate mineral veins. As Radionics can be used to monitor changes in chakras and individual subtle bodies, it is especially useful to those who meditate and to others involved in many aspects of spiritual evolvement. Other areas of specialization also exist.

Is Radionics Considered a Form of Medical Treatment? Technically no, Radionics operates directly on the subtle energy fields; it does not work on the physical plane as conventional medicine does. While Radionics can be used to identify and neutralize negative energy fields associated with physical disease, it is these subtle imbalances that it helps to correct, not the disease itself. Unfortunately, confusion over the precise nature and function of Radionics has made its medical use illegal in the United States; it is much better accepted in most European countries. Holistic health practitioners who do use Radionics seldom advertise the fact. In most instances, however, it is not illegal for Americans to own Radionic instruments or to use them for personal health, research, and non-medical applications.

Does Conventional Science Recognize Radionics? Subtle energies are believed to be operative on the sub-atomic level. Many interpretations of the findings of Quantum physics (the study of the sub-atomic) lend strong credibility to Radionics and to a more "metaphysical" view of nature. Despite this, the conventional scientific community still opposes Radionics and the world view that supports it.

Who can Learn Radionics? Learning Radionics, dowsing, or any related "supersensitive" skill is challenging. Yet, the learning and execution of Radionic and dowsing techniques is no more extraordinary than the use of our other senses of sight, smell, or hearing. Researchers and practitioners estimate that at least 80% or better of the population have the innate ability to do Radionics and dowsing work. People who cannot do this sort of work are generally those who have suffered certain kinds of neurological damage, severe mental or emotional disorders, have drug or alcohol problems, or have established a mental block against radionics, dowsing, and the alternative reality they represent.

What is Involved? Most people learn Radionics in a workshop setting. The average student is capable of making practical use of Radionics immediately after their first 2-3 day class, though some may require more training. Those with skills in other areas of subtle energy work can sometimes learn from books or through correspondence courses. American-made instrumentation costs range widely. Most cost from $750.00 to $6,000.00 new. The exact price generally depends on features and reputation in the marketplace. Occasionally, used instrumentation becomes available when professional practitioners "trade-up" to more powerful or versatile equipment.
